Due to the positive feedback from both exhibitions where the ‘Saint Serafina’ (Aritsts’ Proof), was installed, Katie decided to make a special limited edition of ten original prints in 2023. We are thrilled to announce that edition numbers 4/10, 5/10, 6/10 are now available for purchase.

Due to the handmade quality of each print, there are slight variations to each one. Each print has been hand printed by Katie Alleva in her Mullum Studio using photographic cyanotype, (a camerless photography technique). The halo has been hand-painted and the gilded by hand using traditional gilding techniques and high-quality 22Karat gold leaf. Katie has also machine-stitched each piece with her signature stitch.

MEDIUM: Cyanotype, stitch, ink, 22K gold leaf, Renaissance wax, Saunders paper & Hahnemuhle paper.

The PAPER: Handmade and sustainable Khadi Round Paper, Cold Pressed, 320gsm (100% Cotton).

The print is titled, signed, dated (2023), with the edition number on the bottom of the print in lead pencil.

This work is currently available for PICK UP, Mullumbimby.

Delivery is available for a 50 km radius from Mullumbimby.

This purchase includes FREE delivery in Australia. POST. Wrapped in tissue paper, rolled and posted in a tube.
